Student Volunteer Program

Vida Mobile Clinic believes in the importance of mentoring future generations by providing medical career exposure to students. Our focus is to mentor and provide pre-health students with the tools necessary to succeed and become strong candidates for graduate and doctoral-level healthcare programs. Vida is committed to the mentorship of these students so that one day these students may return to health shortage communities to provide care. These students will learn about the social determinants of health and will gain first-hand experience in seeing how barriers to healthcare can affect an individual’s health outcome.

In addition to clinical exposure, volunteers will receive personal statement feedback, a mock interview session, and networking opportunities.
