Vida’s Animal Wellness Outreach Program is led by pre‑veterinary students who have participated in our mentorship program.

The program provides preventive care guidelines that help families keep their pets healthy and safe. The Animal Wellness Outreach Program also distributes essential pet supplies at outreach events in the San Fernando community and most recently the Altadena area. These include giveaways such as food, beds, toys, and more for families facing hardship.

Additionally, thanks to community partnerships with organizations like Paw Mission, Vida hosts free vaccine days to expand access to care.

 

This program is designed to support uninsured, low‑income, and unhoused pet owners, ensuring animals receive compassionate care and families stay connected to vital resources.
