As a volunteer at the Unhoused Foot Clinic, I've been able to implement the clinical skills I developed at Vida, such as taking vitals, while also embodying the qualities I observed in Vida providers, including compassion, humility, and selflessness.

As a volunteer for the Unhoused Foot Clinic, I assist healthcare providers as they offer foot-care and hygienic products to our unhoused individuals in the San Fernando Valley. I am proud to volunteer with Vida because of the impact they have had and will continue to have in our community.

I love Vida so much that I have volunteered in all aspects of their organization, from the unhoused foot clinic to public outreach and health education in marganlized groups. Vida has a profound impact in my pre-health journey and has inspired me to serve my local communities as a future provider and leader in the healthcare system.

Their unmatched altruism opened my eyes to an epiphany: a good doctor helps those in their communities, but a great one helps anyone, no matter what community they belong to. I volunteer at Vida because it allows me to connect with a community I had not interacted with before, whether it be the unhoused or the uninsured.

Volunteering at the Vida Mobile Clinic has been a deeply fulfilling expereince that has strengthen my passion for healthcare and my connection to my community. It's rewarding to be part of a team that provides care to those who are uninsured as well as do not have access to healthcare services, and I find it inspring to witness firsthand how compassionate service can make a real difference in someone's life.

It’s truly an honor to continue being part of Vida Mobile Clinic as a patient coordinator volunteer. I deeply believe in their mission to serve uninsured individuals and fire relief victims in our community. Being able to help patients feel welcomed, supported, and comfortable enough to return for care brings me so much joy. To me, that reflects Vida’s commitment to providing compassionate and effective care. Vida has incredible mentors and advocates, and being part of this family is incredibly fulfilling. I chose to volunteer with Vida because of the lasting impact it had on my personal and professional growth. I’m grateful to contribute to an organization that genuinely makes a difference in people's lives.
